This project provides business training to aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start or expand their business. We inspire, challenge and equip participants to develop a business model that is based on clear values and is profitable both from a financial and social bottom line. For each group of participants, the training is delivered by local and international business coaches in three phases over a 6-8 month period.
Part of the project includes the opportunity for business owners to receive a low-interest micro-finance loan. Examples of loan recipients include an online florist who wants to impact women who have experienced abuse and a lawyer who desires to use proceeds from an online legal directory to offer pro bono legal services to needy clients.
