NICU and Pediatric Emergency Care

Through expert consulting, training, and equipment, we have assisted the public healthcare system in North Macedonia to improve NICU care and lower infant mortality, which is 2-3 times the European average. Beginning with the main NICUs in Skopje, we have worked to advance clinical skills, introduce appropriate and sustainable technology, and foster a culture of continual quality improvement. We also worked with the Children's Hospital to initiate, design, and provide training and equipment for a new pediatric ER that opened in 2014.
