Pediatric First Aid Training

This project is meeting an urgent need for teachers, caregivers, and parents to be trained in pediatric first aid. Drawing on current international first aid protocols, the project was developed in cooperation with pediatricians from our strategic partner, the Children's Hospital in Skopje.

Trainings began in preschools in 2015 and since then the project has expanded to primary schools, as well as private groups of individuals. To date almost 1500 teachers have been trained in 7 cities across North Macedonia. Also, an online version of the training was developed and is available at www.prvapomos.mk. The project has been supported by the British Embassy and Swiss Embassy in North Macedonia.
